We Christians need to realize why we do not have the power that Christ Jesus promised us. We need to realize that we are not lost in Christ. People want to have the anointing of Christ, yet keep Him at a distance in our lives. The Christ in us and His anointing are a package that cannot be separated.
Christians, we must realize that “in Him we live and move and exist...” (Acts 17:28). If there is no connection with God, we have not granted Him access. We want the benefits of marriage, without the commitment. If we honor our relationship with Him, He will honor us.
Let us get to a place where we care not for anything of this world: greed, man-given power and the lust of the flesh; pouring ourselves out for Christ Jesus. The world needs Christ here today, and that is why we are given His Holy Spirit, to show others to Him! It is not to make us powerful, wealthy, and famous; but to Glorify our God. When we make ourselves out to be great for self-benefit, we are accomplishing what Satan did and it led to Satan's fall.
